The History Museum

	Logging The virgin forests that surrounded the Pine Lakes were cut in the latter part of the 19th century and floated down the Otter Tail River until they reached Fort Gary.
	Quilting In the long nights of Minnesota winters, pioneer women recycled scraps of fabric into colorful and practical blankets to keep their families warm.
	The Early Days of Medicine Before there were hospitals in East Otter Tail county, doctors made housecalls by horseback, carriage, sled, and snowshoes.
	The First Tourists Since the late 1800's, people have come here to fish, hunt and relax. Early resorts were often like hotels, with food and dancing, but the big attraction was the fish.
	From Baseball to Brass Bands It takes teamwork to win a game or play a march. You will enjoy this exhibit featuring yesterday's players.
